The Mountain Fire

Apostle Michael Petro | May 12 2021

The church is being prepared to receive the baptism of fire. This fire will release us into something that has never been seen before and bring a shift in our minds. The apocalypse is a removal of the veil, or seeing something that has never been seen before. In Hebrews 10:20, Paul tells us that the veil is the flesh. Simply put, those who still have flesh in the way won’t be a part of this transition. We have to get rid of our fleshly desires to go into the Holy of Holies. The apocalypse is not about the end of the world – it is about the end of religion.

Moses went up Mt. Sinai to receive the Torah and give it to the people. When Moses came down the mountain, he read them everything that the Lord told him and the people said, “we will do it” or they said, “I do.” The Covenant of the Torah is a marriage contract and the people understood what would happen if they were to disobey this covenant. The Lord is looking for people of the covenant, those who are keeping the marriage contract.

Moses sprinkled the blood on the people after they agreed to be obedient to the covenant. “Dam” is the Hebrew word for blood, and it speaks of a son who resembles their father from the blood. The Torah is not a book of dos and don’ts; it is to teach us to become like the Father and to resemble His divine image here on Earth. The sprinkling of the blood resembles rain. The Song of Moses says, “Let my revelation fall as the rain.” The raining of revelation really is a raining of blood on His people in order for them to resemble the Father.

The Covenant in Hebrew speaks about a contract made by passing between two pieces of flesh. The sacrifice was cut in half and the two parties who were coming into covenant had to walk between the two pieces of the sacrifice. When the covenant is not kept by one of the parties, then the other party is not obligated to keep the covenant either, and instead is able to cut the person who broke the covenant in half. There are plagues that are released on those who do not obey the covenant of God. This is why we see the plagues in the book of Revelation. The plagues are not coming to the world; the plagues are coming to the church for disobeying the covenant by living in sin.
